Yesterday my Twitter feed was a buzz with kudos for this lively RSA animated presentation adapted from a Dan Pink talk on what motivates us (human beings) in the workplace. Pink points out that, surprisingly, it’s not money that motivates us, but the opportunity to work independently, masterfully and with purpose.
Check it out and let me know what you think?

Designing Social Change with the Good 50
posted by Anna Fleet on May 13th, 2010
Vote today and help MFX Partners win the DESIGN 21 Game Changers Challenge!
MFX Partners has developed The Good 50, a game that aims to improve lives and inspire new, positive behaviours.
If you haven’t paid a parking meter that was about to expire in the last year, given yourself a birthday gift just because, or are regularly rude to telemarketers—perhaps it’s time you got yourself a Good 50 deck.
Why? Because this game, among many others in the DESIGN 21 Game Challenge, aim to reacquaint us with positive behaviours. It shows us that it’s easy to live cleaner; treat others (including ourselves) with more respect; and it forces us to rethink our relationships with strangers in our community, our most cherished friends and family, and the world around us.
In order to meet the criteria of the DESIGN 21 Game Challenge, every Good 50 card in the deck will be printed on earth-friendly material and via responsible printing methods. And talk about earth-friendly—the game can be played online, where people from all over the world can share their experiences, photos, and their own Good 50 challenges. Plus, the Good 50 can be reused again and again by passing decks through friends. How’s that for viral networking?
The DESIGN 21 Game Challenge was open for public voting starting on May 13, 2010! So check out all the inspiring games, and of course, because the game is just so cool, vote for The Good 50 and help make MFX Partners this years’ game winner! You will need to sign up for an account in order to cast your vote, but hey, it all goes towards making the world a better place.
Again, you only have until May 20, 2010 at 1:59PM (EST) to cast your vote, so please visit http://www.design21sdn.com/competitions/26 and vote for the Good 50 today!
